Enabling a Better Future
Macquarie is a university of service and engagement – engaging students and staff through transformative learning and life experiences, and serving the world through discovery, dissemination of knowledge and ideas, innovation, and deep partnerships. Our commitment to our Indigenous community is built on this same purpose: to serve and engage.
Following this conviction, Macquarie is hosting the National Indigenous Science Experience Program (NISEP) and its Future STEM Gen program >> www.mq.edu.au
Charles Sturt University
With a motto “For the Public Good”, Charles Sturt University is a university of the land and people of our regions. We develop holistic, far-sighted people who help their communities grow and flourish. The Wiradjuri phrase yindyamarra winhanganha means the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in. This phrase represents who we are at CSU – our ethos. It comes from traditional Indigenous Australian knowledge, but it also speaks to the mission of universities – to develop and spread wisdom to make the world a better place. >> www.csu.edu.au
